From basecamp, Tower Rock, formed by wind, water, and ice, dominates the eastern horizon at 2000′ above the Cispus River Valley floor.
More interesting was the discovery of beads made from ocean shells and arrows made from obsidian only found in Oregon.
Dog Mountain isn’t particularly high, but its location makes it very popular with the sailing community. Steve and Theresa hike up to check out the stunning views.
