The last year has been a whirl wind; came and went before I felt like I even had a handle on it. Part of that, despite my years, is due to the fact that 2015 was a year of change. Not just little ones but big ones. Like many others I found myself suddenly facing the need to find new employment and it had been so long since I had been in that position that the job market playing field had changed considerably.
There were some growing pains as I relearned the art of job hunting but I’m happy to say that I’ve found a ‘perfect’ fit and for the last 90 days I’ve settled in nicely to my new position. And I’m also happy to say that my new position is considerably more rewarding then my last so the uncomfortable change forced upon me was worth it in the long run.
However, my ‘hobbies’ have had to take a back seat while I threw myself into my new position. As a matter of fact, I’m going to take a short break from publishing to this site while I enjoy some ‘fun’ time. A short siesta if you will.
I’ll be back, in fact I’m going to be dusting off some project I had to suspend during the transition, and should be able to start publishing in full force come February. In the meantime, you can follow my activities over on Instagram.
See you then!
