Costa Rica Fieldwork Short Film

See a short glimpse of the fieldwork Steve and Theresa performed while on a recent trip to Costa Rica.

Costa Rica

It’s only been approximately 6 months since Theresa and I were in Costa Rica for 10 days but with the current pandemic, it seems a lifetime ago. It’s been hard to do any fieldwork at all much less get creative with video. We had originally hoped to document the Olive Ridley Sea Turtle’s nest building and laying of their eggs, however, we missed timed their arrival. At that point, we decided to go out and document, with the help of iNaturalist, as many species as we could.

In the end, we identified 116 different species. You can see many of them here at this link.
