Photo of the Week – Marymere Falls

Marymere Falls has to be the most photographed waterfall in the Pacific Northwest due to it’s easy access, a 1 mile groomed trail just off Hwy 101, but that doesn’t make them any less beautiful or majestic or thrilling to watch. On this particular day, Theresa and I were returning from leading a group on the coast for REI Adventures. It had been an usually hot and muggy weekend. As we traveled along the south edge of Lake Crescent I realized that Theresa had never seen the falls.

A short hike through the old growth and we were standing in the cool refreshing mist! A nice way to top off the weekend.
