Photo of the Week – Budd Inlet
I find myself taking to the water in my kayak for a variety of reasons; from a sense of discovery to pure relaxation. It will vary from trip to trip, even day to day, but this photograph capture one of the best reason to be one the water; the pure fun of paddling with close friends.
On this particular day Jason, Theresa and I had launched at Boston Harbor for a quick afternoon trip up Budd Inlet. We really had no agenda other then enjoying the afternoon. However, while taking a break at Burfoot Park, it wasn’t long before Jason was teaching Theresa some rolls with his Greenland stick. The inlet was cold and after a dozen rolls or so, they had to come to shore to let the ice-cream headaches subside.
Great way to spend an afternoon.
