Holiday Goodies – New Screen Saver
It’s already that time of the year where you are either stressing about making good on your gift list, or if you’re lucky, you’re done with the madness.

And I’m glad to say that this year, I’m ahead of the curve with our new designs and offerings here at Essex Explorers. As you’ve no doubt noticed I redesigned the layout to the website some time back. A peek under the hood showed that the vast majority of our readers where using high speed connections and larger screens so I’ve increased the acreage to better highlight our photos. I’ve also been playing with a few other new features.
Screensaver
This years screen saver can be downloaded over on our downloads page. Archived screen savers are there as well.
Desktop Wallpapers and Flickr
I’ve uploaded all of our Photo of the Week desktops over on our Flickr site. You’ll also find a hi-tech bonus desktop. The advantage is that you can get them in various size with little effort. Check it out and if you have any questions just drop me a line. You’ll also find photos from our various trips. Feel free to browse and downloaded as needed.
Personas
For those of you using Firefox, I’ve created an Essex persona that you can load here.
Things to come
Jason and I are working on a few projects for the upcoming year. Personally, I’m excited to be working with a publisher on releasing my first photo book featuring many of the photographs from my trip to Snug Harbor, Alaska last summer! I should have a sneak peek of the cover to share soon.
