Video: Star of Bengal Trailer

It’s only been 7 months, but it seems like a life time ago that Kiwi and I traveled by ferry to Wrangell, Alaska in search of the story behind the fate of the sailing bark Star of Bengal. (see our e-series page) And yet, it’s just now that I’m getting a chance to set down and start editing the video footage we put together of our trip. As soon as we came back the guiding season took off, then when the guide season finally started to wind down, my day job became rather busy.

I wrote some entries on the beginning of our trip and our impressions but have purposely left the ending for the video. Finally you’ll get to hear the whole story.

Although I’ve got hours ahead of editing I have created a quick and off the cuff 4 minute trailer to whet everyone’s appetite. Depending on how quickly I can get the rest of the story together, I may release the project in chapters or as one final large piece; just have to see how it goes.

I’ve gotten emails wondering when we’d finish with our story and I appreciate your patience.
