New Video – Ross Lake

Here’s a little promo film I put together for Anew Outdoors for their multi-day trip on Ross Lake. It’s a short one, but I think it captures the beauty of the area.

Although John is in Alaska fishing, last time I spoke with him there where some spots available for late summer trips to this area. He’ll be back manning the phones soon so give him a call if you’re interested.

    Wow, what a whopper of trout! Best of luck on your trip. Awesome place. I just ran down to B&N and picked up a book on the geology of the North Cascades which I found spectacular. You can bet I’ll be arm wrestling John for these trips from now on. I’m off tomorrow for a 4 day trip through the SJ islands. I’ll be posting our gear review when I return. Take care.

    You’d also really enjoy “Building the Skagit” which chronicles the railroads, dams and mining starting in the late 1800s. Not expensive. I’ll grab you a copy in the Newhalem store and send it to you.
